Feeler:Black 97 Camaro SS

Im really thinking of getting rid of my SS for a GTO. Its in good shape with a few minor scratches on the original paint but otherwise the body is straight and solid and the interior is clean. The car is overall great shape for its age and runs strong. Heres a list of things that been done to it since Ive had it:
*New Racetronix fuel pump
*New RAM clutch/throwout bearing/pilot bearing installed by Zeus Performance
*New intake gasket
*LS1 aluminum driveshaft balance at Driveshaft shop with new U joints.
*Transmission was opened and checked and had shifter forks replaced and input and tailshaft bearings replaced by Tick Performance.
*Hooker Super Comp long tube headers coated
*Borla cat back
*Moroso cold air intake
*LS1 trans mount
*Moser 4.10 gears and bearings installed by Tick Performance
*new NGK t55 plugs and wires
Ive only had the car for about year now and am looking to get payoff for it. Asking $9000. I only have an outside picture now but will try to get more up soon as possible. PM me if interested or email me at Grossl1320@yahoo.com

I dont mean to call you out but... this doesnt exactly look like a True SS car. First of all the cold air kit would really be neccessary if you had a true SS that had the intake routed from the hood. Also there is no plaque by the shifter? Correct me if I am mistaken but I believe this would be considered a "clone SS" and not a "True SS".

Well, alot of people say that it makes sense to get a CAI...the SS intake sits right on top of the engine...(what does hot air do...?)

...that's for the 96's...look above the radio display; that's where the plaque was in 97.

I have faith it's a true SS, but I don't know if there's an RPO code (since the LT1 SS's were technically "conversions" by SLP, I think...never fully looked into it), otherwise to tell for sure, there should be an SLP sticker or 2 on on the driver's door.

It IS a true SS, the air intake was broke so I put on the Moroso and the plaque IS above the radio. You can clearly see it in the picture. Plus I like the CAI intake cause the ram air box heat soaks from sitting on the engine.

My bad...

I guess I was just really confused by the intake swap... also I didn't know about the change of location for the plaque... I see it now.

Looks like a nic car.
