i bought it off the original owner from a car lot so i'm not sure. i'd guess yes. car was BONE stock when i bough tit down to the air filter..... i then started modding it thinking i would like the a4 but i was wrong.

That's one thing i'm trying to decide. What exactly don't you like about the A4? I've only driven automatics till this point (at least daily), and was kinda looking for a M6, although i told myself if a good deal came along that i might settle for an A4...

i just like shifting. i've always had m6 and thats what i like driving. just prefer the shifting and the street driving thing. i'm not a track guy i just like to have a car that goes fast and i can mess with people a little on the free way... i'll make ya a good deal if your itnerested..... pm me if u r interested i'd like it gon soon.... i have a guy wanting to trade me for a durango but i'd just sell that so i'd rather have cash.

There are plenty of 4th gens (including the dreaded LT1, and those V6 cars, which according to the board, don't really count) that have reached 200K+ miles, and the bodies are just fine, as long as they are maintained. His car looks to be pretty clean, so I think things should be in good working order. And as far as mileage on the engine, there is a guy on the vette forum who has over 300K on his 97, or 98 (can't remember the exact year). Original engine and tranny. The LS1 will last for over 200K, without breaking a sweat. $6800 may be a little high, but I see the car going for between $5-6K when it actually sells.
