If you don't want to subject your F body to the ravages of winter, here is a great alternative. I have a 96 Tracker 4dr 4x4. It is in great condition....not rusted and the interior is near perfect. It has a 1.6l 16V and 4 speed automatic. Averages 22-26mpg. Has high and low range 4WD. It has 116K on it and runs great. Just passed PA inspection, fresh oil change, and fresh timing belt. Has power windows, power locks, and cruise also. Stock cassette. Alloy wheels. It is the LSI model. It has the typical Japanese reliabilty, and will go anywhere in 4WD. Nada average retail on it is $3500. KBB private party is $3600. I will let it go for $2900. And yes, it should be fine to drive any length of trip, just fill the tank and go.
