Black 94 Camaro Z28 M6 T-tops Stock!
94 Z28 LT1 T56 T-tops 129k miles. I bought this car around 100k and I was shocked to find it was completely stock, it seems every Camaro is modified. I've had no interest in modifying it myself as I already had a 3rd gen road racer, I was just looking for a highway cruiser. So the only modifications I've made were Koni SA shocks in front, bilsteins in back, Porterfield R4S pads and upgraded the seats to a mint set of leathers from a 2000 SS that are still in excellent condition. Engine and transmission are in excellent condition. The engine oil is nice and clear and there is no burning, I've run Mobil 1 synthetic since day 1. T56 is silky smooth as it's never been abused. Car has never been in an accident.
Maintenance items:
New Rod ends, rear rotors/pads, water pump, radiator all changed in the last 15k miles. Plugs/wires at 100k. Clutch was changed by the previous owner at 90k. I have all receipts.
Issues (every single one of them, you will not find anymore!):
* intake leak from rear of manifold, this is a common issue from the factory. It's never bothered me enough to try and fix this.
* Rear posi sometimes noisy when making tight turns into driveway but otherwise fine.
* Air pump died and I just unpluged it. I have another pump that will be included.
* intermittent leak from somewhere near the passenger window. T-tops seal good.
* Paint flaky at the base of the driver B-pillar. This also seems to be a common issue. You can see this in the pics.
* Driver fog light has a crack
* needs driver side power lock switch
* Various little dings in body all visible in pictures
and finally the opti is dying. It's very intermittent, sometimes it has no symptoms and other times it will throw trouble codes. I caught it once when it was throwing codes and scanned it which came back with MALF 16 and 36 (Lo and Hi Res Failures). Those are classic signs of opti failure. Quite honestly I have no time to fix this and I've already picked up a C5 anyway so I'm pricing this accordingly. I think this will be a good deal for somebody that can do an opti job on it and end up with a clean Camaro. I'm asking $2900, located in northern NJ.
