Berger Camaro SS recreation, LS1, M6, 69K miles

Super Clean Berger SS Camaro Recreation LS1 6 Speed

Created after #20 of only 100 built, only one Berger SS was produced as Artic White with Hugger Orange Stripes. The real Berger SS Camaro's are very uncommon to see in resale. It's a rare opportunity to own a Yenko, Baldwin-Motion, Nicky, Dana or Fred Gibb classic Chevrolet. Berger Chevrolet came out with a dealer ordered modern muscle super car in 2000 - 2002 and only made 100 of them.

Super clean, low mile, very reliable and fast Artic White Six Speed '98 LS1 SS with 435hp est crank hp, only 70k - 5k on new mods. This Camaro has also been pampered 100% during my ownership.

Over 10k in Performance Modifications:

Engine:
Dyno tuned and PCM programmed
Split custom ground Crane Cam with [much like a 2X cam but with different ramp speeds]
Crane Valve Springs & Retainers
Chromoly Pushrods
Mac HTS silver coated headers, coated off road Y-Pipe
Borla stainless steel adjustable cat-back exhaust system with polished tips
LS6 / Z06 Intake Manifold
Larger 78mm ported smothed & polished throttle body
Coolant bypass
SLP Smooth bellow
Ported MAF
ASP Under Drive Pulley
SLP LS6 Ported Oil Pump
NEW GM Timing Chain
Hypertech 160° Power Stat
Granatelli Motorsports air lid
K&N filter
MSD 8.5mm wires
NGK TR6 plugs
Free mods
Jet Cags
368rwhp, at a quick glance this engine compartment actually looks like a stock LS1 and it is nice and clean!
Drivetrain
Stock 10 Bolt w/ 3.42 Gears [15k miles on '02 rear end]
TA Girdle
Car Tek Clutch
GM LS1 flywheel
Spohn driveshaft loop
Hurst billet shifter
White w/ black 6 speed shift pattern Hurst shift ****

Suspension & Chassis:
Powder coated black BMR Tubular control arms w/poly bushings
Powder coated black Edelbrock tubular torque arm
Graphite/polyurethane front torque arm bushing
Grade 8 hardware
Energy Suspension transmission mount

Appearance:
17" x 9.5" Enkei Win Wheels
Wider tires in the rear - 275/40 Nitto 555 Extreme Performance Radials out back, 245/45 Nitto 555's up front
2 EXTRA matching Enkei Wins with 275/40 Nitto 555R [DR] Drag Radials mounted for the track [under 10 passes on them]
Billet front grille with '69 SS emblem
Blacked out rear valance panel and hugger orange SS stripes

Options: LS1 M6, Power steering, Power disc brakes, Power windows, Power locks, Power mirrors, Power/remote hatch release, Power drivers seat, Cruise control, ASR traction control, Tilt steering wheel, Delay wipers, Factory Monsoon AM/FM CD Stereo, Leather interior, Floor mats, Fog lights, Rear defrost, Map lights, Remote entry with alarm, Original owners manual, SLP owners manual case and books.

The car has always been adult owned, still has very clean factory paint and looks fantastic - looks much cleaner than any average 1998 Camaro! Clean title and clean CAR FAX, no accidents recorded or otherwise. The leather interior is in very nice shape except for some common wear on the edge of the driver side seat. Includes a folder containing all records and well over 10k in receipts, original paperwork, 1998 Camaro sales brochure, leather SLP owners manual holder with Camaro SS pen, pad and brand new un-opened tire gauge.

This is a reliable street car with lots of attitude. You can drive anywhere and run low 12's at the strip all day long. One more mod and it will be in the 11's without a problem. Car also has a brand new Optima battery, NYS inspected, turn the key and go.

SOLD

Thanks for looking!
Chris
