I have sold quite a few things on here and I know it's always better for it to be your own item but Im listing this for a friend because he isnt a member and dosent have time to get online much with his slow internet connection. Car runs EXCELLENT! It put down 351 rwhp and 359 rwtq with these mods. He is selling it because he wants to buy a 95 Lightning. He would REALLY like to keep both but dosent want to pay the gas and insurance for both of them right now, so the car has to go, which trust me, saddens him a bit. He wants lower insurance and a new project and always wanted a Lightning. The car is in good overall shape and most of the milage is highway to and from work.
The car has the typical minor scratches and swirls of a used black car but nothing major, the body is great overall. Florida/Alabama car so NO RUST at all. The chips you see in the pictures on the bumper arent nothing like that in person, the camera actually made those look worse than they are. If you are local and would like the car repainted just to have a new paintjob, not that it needs one at all, he is one of the top painters in the are and can do it for a decent price as part of buying the car, you would have to work out the details on that with him, it's not even needed in my opinion! Just an option for a local buyer, seeing how he paints for a living.
The only major problems are that it's notchy going to third at times if you get lazy and dont push the clutch all the way down at low rpms, over 3000 RPM's it's fine, it just gets notchy and tries to pop out of gear but still shifts fine over 3000 RPM's and shifts fine around town as long as the clutch is pushed down all the way. The rearend makes a little whine but no more than I have heard from BRAND NEW Z28's. The car is in good shape overall and runs GREAT, it's literally one of the best running and driving LS1 cars I have ridden in.
He is asking $10500 obo
The pictures have the Chrome Z06's on it which were recently sold and went back to the original wheels he had on it, the SS's. The last picture at his work shows it with the SS's on it again. We will try and get some more pictures of it tomarrow with the SS's on it.
The car is located in Robertsdale Alabama but he works in Pensacola Florida, it's local to Mississippi and Georgia also.
