'99 Formula A4- Jacksonville, FL
The car has 83,xxx miles on it. A4, 2.73 rear. Overall it is in great condition for a 10 year old car.
Engine was hydrolocked and replaced in July ‘08. The current engine is out of a ’99 Trans Am. It had 17,xxx miles on it when installed in the car @ 76,200 miles. It is a T-Top car, and the T-Tops do not leak. I still have the shades, but they need new Velcro to hold them on (that’ll set you back 4 bucks at Wal Mart).
The car has the following mods:
SLP Lid
Pacesetter long tube headers w/ no EGR or AIR, and Off-road Y-pipe.
Magnaflow cat-back exhaust.
LS6 Intake.
160* Hypertech Theromostat.
Auxiliary Transmission Cooler
Custom program.
96-00 WS6 wheels (If for some reason you want the stockers included, I still have ‘em)
ALL mods and tuning were done by EFI ALCHEMY, in Orange Park, FL.
New parts:
Starter
Sail Panel speakers
Valve body.
Engine Mounts (urethane).
Rear brake pads
Wheel bearings
The bad:
Has typical Firebird door panel cracks.
Has typical F-Body dash pad crack.
Has a few minor scratches and parking lot dings, to be expected of a 10 year old car.
I’d rate the exterior and interior as 9/10
Rear tires are going to need to be replaced very soon (at the wear bars).
I’ll also be including a Yank SY3500 converter. The converter had some issues with lockup (The clutch is probably bad), so I took it out. It’ll probably cost 200-300 to get it rebuilt.
EFI Alchemy did a bang-up job putting it together and tuning it after the hydrolocking incident. I can meet any prospective buyer at EFI Alchemy to have the car gone over/inspected by them.
The only reason I’m selling it is because I’ve simply lost interest in the hobby.
There is a lien holder on the car, so the buyer will have to wait for the title to be processed by the bank before it is signed over to them. That will probably take a week to 10 days. A bill of sale will be provided to the buyer.
Price is $7500.00.
