I have had to do this in NC once before on an old truck You would have to get a bond through the state and blah blah...costs like 150 bucks i think, and you have to wait a little while to get the new title. Not TOO much trouble.

BUT...thats NC laws...don't know about where you are. If it was me, and I wanted the car, I'd bite. definitely worth the $3500 if you're playing by NC rules.

Maybe the Ex got out of jail and Came after him for trying to sell his car???
