97 LT1 camaro, 383, T56, 9"

Im helping a buddy sell this car. i have done 75% of the work on it with him. Car has 86K on it and is silver. 2 years and 3K miles ago the stock motor dropped a valve so we picked up another motor and the work began. stroked it to a 383 with eagle rotating assembly, ported heads, BBK trottle body, 42LB injectors, 230/236 @ .050 cam, pace setter headers, ATI damnper, stange 9" rear, subframe connectors, bigger in tank fuel pump and more im forgetting. We converted the car from a 4l60E to a T56 with a rebuilt trans, Spec 3+ clutch. put slotted rotors on and a new rack. Exterior and Suspension is pretty much stock except for 17" torq thrust wheels. Interior is charcoal leather and in mint condition. Car put down 480HP when it was tuned. Car ran great until the other day when the crank broke. We dont know why, i was following him and it just quit running. I think it broke at the second main as i can grab the balancer and move it all around. We dont know if it was tuning or the machine shop that built it but he just wants it gone. Willing to part it out if enough people are intested in parts. If not hes hoping to get 3K for it. I can get pictures.

Was the crank cast? They are known for breaking. I broke one on the street the same way. It had 600 miles on it.
