'96 Impala SS *CLEAN*
I'm selling the Pimpala to make room for new toys. The car has 112,000 miles and the motor and tranny are strong. Recent compression test shows good compression in all cylinders. Oil changed every 3,000 with Royal Purple. The tranny was professionally rebuilt at ~90,000 miles (before I bought it) by the same guy that built the tranny in my turbo Camaro. The previous owners were clean freaks and the car shows it. You'll be hard pressed to find a car with this mileage that cleans up this nice.
The basics:
-Black with gray leather interior
-Black powdercoated stock wheels with 285-40 Nitto NT-555s
-Smooth fiberglass bumpers front and rear (a sweet mod!)
-Intrax springs (will install stock springs at no charge if requested)
-ATR Pitbull catback (cost $750 new!)
-Homebuilt cold air induction, anodized red
-throttle body airfoil
-bypassed throttle body coolant
-F-body throttle body elbow
-plugs, wires and opti changed ~25,000 miles ago
-NOS nitrous kit with polished bottle. I installed most of it but never sprayed it. I will finish installing the kit or remove it at the new owner's request. I repeat, THIS MOTOR HAS NEVER HAD NITROUS RUN THROUGH IT!
-Clear corners and hyperwhite headlight bulbs
-Hawk HPS brake pads all around.
-Tinted windows
-Royal Purple motor oil and rear end fluid.
-Rear end fluid, tranny filter, and fuel filter changed when I bought the car at ~96,000 miles. Brake rotors turned and new pads installed at the same time.
I still have the stock springs, airbox with a K&N filter, and stock elbow with home plate resonator. I will gladly reinstall any factory parts I have for the car at no charge. I also have extensive repair and maintenence records. I have never had this car to the track, but the previous owner (a friend of mine who babied this car) took it once (the only time it's ever been) and ran it to a 14.5 with just the cold air and the cat-back. As it sits this car should go low 13s on a 100 shot or high 12s on a 150 shot.
I'm asking $10,000, which is just under the payoff value. Email me, PM me, call me, or post here with questions. I will also gladly deliver or meet the owner within a resonable distance.
