95 Z28 6-Spd

Name: Kenny
Location: Central VA
Means of contact: PM
Price: $4,500
Trades: just show me what you got...I'd prefer trades plus cash

Description: I really don't want to do this but I have to sell my baby The reason being because this was my daily driver till gas went up and now she just sits...

here is the info: It's a 95 Z28 Camaro, T-Tops "don't leak", 18mpg city 24mpg highway, 11/12 Inspection, All power Options, Factory Fogs, Quasar Mid-Metallic Blue, 158k miles, last 50k mostly highway 60mile a day round trip to work and back, Very strong LT1 V8, T-56 6-speed trans that shifts like a hot knife through butter. This is my baby and I treat her as such, My car is not beat on and fluid changes are always done on time, every time religiously. This camaro runs like new and is very fast, mechanically sound with no SES lights, doesn't smoke, leak/burn any fluids of any kind.

I've spent a good bit of money & time fixing this car up since I've owned it, this work includes clutch replacement 600 miles ago with a Zoom Stage 2 kit from Summit Racing, all fluids changed 1k miles ago i.e. rear-end, oil "full synthetic is all I use" with Mobile One filter, clutch hydraulics & trans fluids were done when clutch was replaced along with rear main seal & pilot bearing, new trans mount, new upper dash pad, new headliner, new T-Top shades, new water pump, new purge valve, new AC Delco vented optispark dist, plugs & wires just done, new exhaust manifold gaskets, new battery, new JVC head-unit with Ipod hookup, new Memphis Audio speakers, coolant system just flushed, there is probably more that I'm forgetting,

Interior is a 9/10! almost mint but drivers seat does have a 2" tear in side bolster, exterior is 8/10 some very small dings & scratches, nothing noticeable just being honest.

Mods: Granatelli MAF, K&N CAI, FlowMaster Cat-Back "sounds amazing!", TB Coolant by-pass, 160 stat, 3.73 gear, skip shift delete, SLP Strut Brace.

BAD: Drivers seat has a tear in side bolster, drivers-side window goes up slowly, needs trunk struts, some scratches in paint but not bad for age of car, A/C needs a line replaced before it can be used but does work," line running from condenser to compressor rubbed on ac pully and now has a big hole in it" line can be ordered off ebay for $20.

All in all this is a very nice example and you'd be hard pressed to find another in this good of condition for this price.

You just posted this 3 days ago. Not only is this a niche type of car but the classifieds here do not get a ton of traffic so you'll probably be sitting on the car for a while.

Also, since you asked, yes $4500 is a tad high for the year/miles, the fact that it is a 6 speed helps it retain some value though.

Thanks for the input, as to price I'm just going off what I've seen these going for in similar condition/mileage...What would you think my car would be worth realistically?

I bought my 93 in 2010 in mint condition fully loaded with 105,000 for 2800.00. Only needed pads and rotors. Granted mine is auto but it came with a ton of after market parts and was bought brand new by the previous owner.

bought my Z 95 for $3000...worn down motor, worn down suspension, and broken trans mount..

I think your price is far. If I had the money I'd buy it right now! it's the color I want and it has t-tops and a 6 speed... perfect combo for me.

Re: 95 Z28 6-Spd

Thanks, I figured 4-4.5k would be a decent price for a nice, problem free Z...but I guess there isn't much of a market for these cars rightnow because of gas prices I may end up dropping it to 3.5-3.8k to get a quick sale.
