'95 Camaro Z28 383 LT4 LE ported best offer over $8,000
I've decided to sell my Camaro...not an easy decision, but I have other projects I need to work on, and never enough time to do it all. Here's a quick pic:

So, my cousin calls me yesterday afternoon, and says to come outside my house. I walk out, and there he stands with his new Ford GT...I almost wet myself. What a GORGEOUS car! Gotta admit though, I could never drive one. The way the doors wrap around the top of the car, the top of the door (which becomes the "roof" when the door is closed) hits my head. I'm just under 6'2", and evidently they are not made for tall people. I had to crouch down while he took me for a ride in it, such an awesome vehicle. What does all this have to do with me selling my Camaro? Here's what...my cousin two years ago bought a complete Factory Five Racing GTM kit, and over the past year has bought all the new Corvette parts required to complete it, less the engine and Porsche Transaxle. He got all the upgrades too, he was all in on this one. Now, with the GT, he wants to sell the GTM kit, and he knew how much I liked that thing.
So, for about half of what he has into it, I can buy his complete kit, all the new parts, everything.
Can't pass it up. My Camaro and my '66 Mustang currently take up all my available room in my garage, but I need to move something to make room for the GTM. The Mustang is my first car, and it's been in the family since it was new, so I can't sell it. There's no way I can justify parking the Camaro out in the sun, and besides, with the GTM I won't have time to do anything with it. I am posting more pics tonight, and it will take a while for me to list all the work and parts put into this. Trust me when I say, I am a PERFECTIONIST with my projects. It gets done RIGHT or not at all. Here's a quick rundown:
'95 Z28, original owner, 60K miles. Engine and trans less than 1000 miles. This combo has not been to the strip, but the old heads/cam stock 350ci shortblock ran a 12.25 @115.9 MPH (100 shot of spray) uncorrected at LACR, elevation 2800'. ALWAYS garaged. Passed CA emissions, so if that is a concern for you it's good to go. If you're in a non-emissions state, then put a bigger cam in it and gain 25hp-30hp (according to LE). This is a low 11's car as it sits, with traction and a 200 shot it should go high 10's. It handles like it's on rails, and still smells new inside. Never smoked in. Probably one of the nicest 4th gens you'll ever see, and I'm not bragging...it's just a fact.
A couple more pics, and I will be posting full specs and additional pics shortly.

Still working on a list of what all is in this thing, but here are a few more pics in the meantime...
A couple of engine shots, top and bottom:

Front suspension showing QA-1's, Umi tubular lower arms (has the uppers too, not visible in this pic), Eibach sway bar, Umi tubular K-member

Baer Brakes, Alcon 4 piston calipers with slotted rotors, new pads and rotors installed when the engine was put in (less than 1000 miles), Simmons 3-piece forged wheels 17x9.5 fronts, 17x11 rear. BFG G-Force 275/40/17 front, BFG 315/35/17 drag radials rear

Rear end newly rebuilt, TA cover, 3.73 gears (Motive), new posi, Moser forged axles, "bulletproof 10-bolt" mods done per the thread here on the board, adj. lower panhard rod, lowered upper panhard rod for true-dual SS exhaust, Eibach sway bar. Adjustable torque arm with drive shaft loop, adj. Umi LCA's with LCA lowering brackets (welded), QA-1 Adj shocks

Some more pics:
GM chrome valve covers, pass side modified for alt. clearance

Transmission cooler:

Another shot of the underside, showing the ajd. torque arm. This arm helped GREATLY for getting the tires to hook, and also controls braking dive. Car feels much more controllable in panic stops. It stops so well, the first time I went out to bed in the pads (requiring stops from various speeds, ending with 4 80-0 panic stops) I woke up the next morning with a bruise across my shoulder form the seatbelt

A better shot of the LCA relocation brackets, and the Umi adjustable LCA's

That car is so utterly gorgeous. My favorite 4th gen LT style car I've ever seen. Good luck with your sale, If I had seen this car around before I bought my fox I would have almost definalty bought it.
Seems like a great price too, I doubt you will have trouble selling it.

I've had some inquiries, but no definite offers yet. My wife is trying to talk me into buying an REO house a couple doors down from us for an investment, and keeping the Camaro in that garage so I don't have to sell it. If I put down 50% the payments would only be about $450 a month, but I don't know if I want to part with that much cash on top of the GTM kit I just bought. The economy sucks, and even though our businesses seem to be OK for now, I'm still a bit nervous. Dunno, I would like to keep the Camaro but even if I had a place to put it I don't have much time to work on it. I'll figure it out this week, but in the meantime I still need to post up a list of all the mods on this thing. I've been dragging my feet on doing that, maybe subconsciously I'm trying to keep it...at least that's what my wife thinks, and she prolly knows me better than anybody.
Anyways, thank you for the compliment on the car. It's every bit as beautiful as the pics make it look

The spoiler is from RK Sport. They had two versions back when I bought it, this is the shorter of the two (appx 3"). The other was around 6" IIRC.
Re: '95 Camaro Z28 383 LT4 LE ported best offer over $8,000
And, a final bump
Decided it has to go. I've driven it ONCE in the past three months, and it's a waste just sitting in the garage. Too little time and too many projects. Only 60k on the odometer...that works out to it being driven about 4,000 miles a year, but most of that was in the first 2-3 years before I started really modding it. It has been driven less than 2000 miles in the past 7 years, and she deserves better than that. It goes on fleabay tomorrow, but if anybody is interested shoot me a PM.

Re: '95 Camaro Z28 383 LT4 LE ported best offer over $8,000
It's on eBay. The auction number is 300501068885
I'm driving this even less than I thought I was....I just looked at the vehicle history report eBay does, and when I smogged it for registration on 9-10-2008 the odometer reading was 60,422. Two years later, 8-20-2010, at the next smog check the reading was 60,780....358 miles in TWO YEARS!!!!
It's been driven 60 miles since then...
Somebody give her a good home
I thought the engine and trans had about 1500 miles on them, it's actually 600 miles

Re: '95 Camaro Z28 383 LT4 LE ported best offer over $8,000
Thank you...
It's had 225 views, and there are 17 watchers. No bids yet, though. I know the economy sucks, but I'm not going to just give it away either. We'll see what happens, I guess. If anybody on here is interested, there's a lot more info on the car on the auction.

I guess there are worse things than having to keep it
. I just feel bad never driving it....maybe I should drive it more, but I'm so paranoid about parking lots I won't even take it to get groceries, or just to get a quick burger somewhere. It's easier and less stress just to take my truck, or the wife's Charger...but I've done enough on that car that I'm getting protective over it too. I really do have "modders disease", I can't keep my hands off of any vehicle I own.
