Mileage is the issue here, I have receipts dated to about a year ago (got tires at Bob Summerel and odo read 79K) but unfortunately the clock was stopped last March when the trans got replaced and a new speedo gear wasnt installed on the new trans. clock is stuck at 84K.

needs a TC (the current one the TCC is unplugged) and leaks some oil at the valve covers. on 87 gas i get 16.5mpg highway (cincinnati to cleveland 1 tank of gas = 250 miles 15.5 gallons - 16.5mpg) and its got some minor fixin's.

I forgot to mention my car was featured in the Northern Kentucky F-Body Association's 2004 Calendar.

This car catches all the attention where ever it goes. The exhaust sounds great, the yellow paint is in great shape, and for a 21 year old car with the original interior, aside from the 1 tear in the driver's seat, its perfect.

 

corvettezl1 has seen the car, ridden in the car, and knows how its taken care of. Im a college student without a job currently and in my free time I play w/ the car nonstop. About a month ago I got under the car for several hours and detailed the underbody just because I had nothing else to do.

Everything on the underside is PERFECT.. NO RUST on the underside of this car. This is mostly due to the old transmission leaking (that trans has been replaced) trans fluid all over the underbody and keeping it water free.

Today im taking Engine Brite to the engine bay and transmission, again, just because I have nothing else to do and the car could use it. Before the end of this week is up, I plan to have a new Master Cylinder in (running the factory Master Cyl. which isnt made to pump for the 4-wheel disc brake swap I did) and the brakes are getting flushed, filled, and bled.

If anyone is also interested, I have access to a FREE IROC HOOD which I will drive and go get it just to sell w/ the car if the buyer so chooses. There are no problems w/ the current hood but I always wanted an IROC hood.

This car is daily driven WITH NO ISSUES. I keep a very watchful eye on the fluids in the car and just yesterday bought a new radiator cap w/ a lock, new windshiled wipers, engine brite to do some detail work, and flat black paint which Im using this week to clean up the air cleaner and possibly the valve covers.

THIS CAR IS TAKEN CARE OF EVERYDAY.

This car runs like a top. Never any issues starting/driving/stopping. Never stalls, never sputters, after 3 years of ownership this car has NEVER left me stranded anywhere and is the most reliable car I know of.
