30th Anniversary 1997 Camaro Z/28
30th Anniversary 1997 Camaro Z/28
Up for sale is a 1997 z/28 red coupe. Car has 182,xxx miles on the body, but only has 5.8 miles on the rebuilt engine. I havent even driven the car on the freeway yet. Car idles real smooth and drives great. The new engine is completly stock. I do have a magnaflow exhaust with it and a k&N cold air intake. The car is a 6-speed car and also has excellent condition dark grey leather. On the car are black zr1's with a polished lip. The front wheels are 17x9.5 and the rears are 17x11. The front tires are 275/17/40 and the backs are 315/17/35. Tires have alot of tread on them. The tires cost $712 and only have about 4 months of driving time on them. I do have a receipt for them.
The car is lowered about 3 inches all around. With these wheels on the car make it look very nice.
New Parts include: Starter, Clutch, Water pump sensor, Battery with 3 year warranty, and a few hoses in the engine department
Also, the car has around a thousand dollar stereo system in it.
There are 6 brand new Kicker DS speakers that replaced all the stock speakers. A custom subwoofer box in the back that has two new rockford fosgate p2's. It has a 600.4 channel Kicker amp. Every speaker in the car and both subs and cd player are on this amp. I also have a 2.4 farad capacitor hooked up. The system is very loud and clear. I would say I spent a little over a thousand on everything. I put this system in it when I rebuilt the engine it which is brand new.
The car itself drives really good and is pretty fast. I have a clean title for the car. The car currently doesnt have tags or inspection on it.
Im looking to sale this car asap. Im asking $6000 obo. I am negotiable and no reasonable offers will be refused. If interested please give me a call at 832-455-6116.
Thanks

why was the motor rebuilt?
who did the work?
are all internal parts new?
were the cyl. bored over any?
would you consider selling w/out the stereo system?
thanks.

The engine threw two rods and damaged the original block. I found a nice engine took it apart and built it standard with all new internal parts such as rod bearings, cam bearings, main bearings, engine gasket set, moly piston rings, timing set, and oil pump and pickup. The engine is standard and only has 5.8 miles on it currently. All the rebuilding was done by Ram Performance in Houston, TX. I want to sell the car with the stereo only because im getting a new car and dont have any use for it. I need the car gone asap and i will take $5000 cash.
