As described in the title i have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with a Supercharged 3.8 A-4. It is black with cloth interior, CD/tape combo w steering wheel controls, OnStar, Sunroof, 17" Chrome rims (one has a gouge/dent? in one of the spokes) and power everything. It does have HUD but a spring or something is broke in the reflector, you can see that it displays the info when looking in from the windsheild but it doesnt display in the window. I am the second owner and bought it while working in MD from a lady in Waldorf MD that used it to transit daily to the D.C area so it has high miles over 180K. I have all the paperwork for the car including window sticker (28,000 new may be off 1k or so) and more. Good tires on the rear and new tires on the front I sent the car home after the purchase and the wifey liked it and started driving it daily and due to the miles it had at the time her mom and dad talked her into having a complete tune up done which i agreed with and also flush the trans fluid, i didnt know this detail and would not have agreed. Needless to say the trans didnt last much longer AT ALL! It was supposed to have been rebuilt at a shop in bristol but when it came back it was throwing codes and the dash was lit up with lights. I spent months and hundreds of dollars getting this thing looked at and the result was the same, "The trouble codes that are reading are not problems and we tore the car apart checking all grounds, we cant get them off. The last stop was a GM dealership which came to the same conclusion and said that if the trans was replaced rather than rebuilt the differences in the harnesses could be causing the lights but the codes were not actual problems. It has in no way affected the drivability its just an eyesore. The lights are not all the time, sometimes get in and drive all day no prob then next time all the lights come on automatically then sometimes after driving a while they all come on. But like i said ive driven the car on multiple long trips and never had an actual problem with the car, it gets excelent mileage handles exceptionally well and is very comfortable on long trips. Its very strong and pulls hard (for a 4 door car) shifts smooth and is fun to drive. I bought it to use as a compromise a 4 Door baby hauler that still has some power and fun to drive I later bought a Crew Cab 2500HD with a Duramax and after Chip/Exaust/Intake etc I figured out i like it more and can haul stuff too! I did a Carfax before i bought it and it was in one accident and after talking to the previous owner, it was hit in the front passenger side, fender was replaced. Ive tried to be as honest as possible in my description as i can. overall its still a beautiful car that gets up and goes and drives great and will drive anywhere i just have no use for it anymore and its time to move on CLEAN/CLEAR TITLE no leins and is Tagged and Insured. I would really like to trade for another F-body preferably 6-speed and drivable So if anyone is interested just let me know, If someone would like to buy i think $3500obo would be a good place to start! So get back with me with any offers or potential trades maybe not an F-body but something cool If your within a reasonable day trip distance i could drive the car out and show you and look at trades as its been a slow winter. and no im not easily offended worst i could say is no thanks!
