2001 Pontiac T/A WS6, modded, quick. For sale or trade...
Hey guys,
Was interested in trading my car for a Mustang a little while back and may still do so. I would go for an 03' in some shape, but I may also be looking to sell it (or trade it...) and get a Vette, so I'll consider a few different options. If I sell it outright, I'm looking for $18,250 - just about what I'm about to pay off on it. Isn't it wonderful how you pay it off then sell it? Anyway, here're the list of the mods.
2001 Pontiac T/A WS6, red w/ black leather..
-T56 with McLeod single disk Kevlar/Organic clutch, steel flywheel.
-Hooker long tubes, Jet Hotted ,with O/R Y pipe. To a cutout and Dynomax super turbo muffler.
-Eibach sportlines with the Bilstein shocks.
-Mild heads, More Performance porting Job, CNC heads, originally. Recently removed and milled to about 0.032 and cleaned up. New head gaskets.
-TR 224/114 Cam with mid 500s lift. Good, solid cam, lots of mid-high power.
-Chrome Z06 wheels with newer Kumho tires. 17x9.5s all around.
-Can come with new Pioneer faceplace or will replace with the factory Monsoon CD player if we work with the price.
-TR Hardened pushrods, 7.350"s and ported LS6 oil pump for better flow.
-Walbro 255 fuel pump, in tank.
The car, as it sits, is in excellent shape. It's a 2001 with just under 61,000 miles as I post this. Here's the juicy stuff...
The car put down 383.3hp and 376.7 torque, N/A. However, I recently installed a TNT n2o kit (one of the best kits for these cars, IMO) and with a 100 shot and a VERY safe tune, it put down 466.5hp and 631.7ft/lbs. No, that's not a typo - these cars love nitrous . Anyway, I've sprayed it three times; once on the street, twice on the dyno, never on the track. To be frank, it kinda scares me, but I want to switch to something different, I've had my fun with this car. So, for anyone interested, please let me know. I'll check this board as often as I am able, or I can be emailed at mrmacdad@ncsu.edu . Let me know if you have any questions...
Mike
PS: I will find pictures ASAP..I know I have some. Trust me when I say it's a beautiful car. I also recognize I'm new, but I'm not to Ls1tech, ls1.com, etc.
