2000 Grand Prix GTP Coupe For Sale - Stock
Well, the time has come to part ways with my GTP. I absolutely love this car and out of everything I have owned previously, this is by far my favorite.
Details:
-2000 Grand Prix GTP Coupe
-3800 V6 Supercharged
-Bone Stock down to the paper filter.
-~86,000 miles. They are honestly 90% highway miles. I drive the car to work and school. Work is a good 70 miles round trip each day.
-Automatic(obviously)
-Silvermist Metallic Exterior
-Gray Leather Interior
-As far as I can tell it has every option short of OnStar...
-Power Sunroof
-High Polished 16" Wheels
-Power Driver's Seat
-Heated Driver's Seat
-2000 Included the "Performance Shift" button.
-HUD (Displays speed and radio information on the windshield.)
-Bose Stereo System w/ CD Player
-Driver/Pass. Climate Control
-Like I said, basically every option...
Basically the car has been absolutely perfect to me. Nothing bad has ever come from it. The exterior is in excellent shape. During summer I washed it 2-3 times a week, and waxed it every 2-3 weeks. Now that it is winter I usually wash it about once a week when it's above 32*. It has absolutely no rust. The body is very clean and straight. One minor scuff on the front bumper that I guarantee could be buffed out. Interior follows suit, excellent shape. Leather treatment applied regularly and dash treatment as well. No rips/tears anywhere. All buttons/gauges/etc work and everything functions as it should. Stereo sounds great. The transmission shifts firm and quick and has no signs of going bad whatsoever. Mechanically the car is excellent and needs nothing.
It honestly still drives like a new car in my opinion. I took it to North Carolina and back and averaged 33.1 MPG. Mid 20s is about average for it. The car has a new battery I just put in and two front tires. The are Potenza G 009's and were rated #2 in their class based on consumer reviews? Nice, quiet tires. Great in rain and snow. The back tires are not new but will easily last through winter, they are a pair of BFGoodrich. Oil changes all changed regularly based on the onboard computer. Always done by me and always with Synthetic oil and a Fram filter. Recently put in a new air filter as well.
The car is a coupe so it is slightly more nimble and quick than the 4 door version. I'm obviously not going to lie and say I've never had it to the track, as you can see in my sig I have. I took it to the track once and ran it twice. I was impressed with the car. It ran a 14.534 @ 93. As I said it IS bone stock. At that time it also had BALD front tires and a dirty air filter. Also was an 80 degree day.
Anyone who knows me or has seen my posts knows I am extremely **** about how well I keep my cars looking and mechanically maintained. I baby them as if they were my children. It's just the way I am.
This car won't disappoint whoever buys it. It's perfect as a nice daily driver that can get out of it's own way if need be. Given that the miles were primarily highway I'd say the car has a ton left in her before any major maintenance is needed.
Let me know if you are interested. I am asking $8,000 OBO, and I am negotiable. Thanks guys. You can contact me via here using a PM, or posting. Or feel free to e-mail me @ breeddesign@comcast.net. My cell # is 440-506-2624 if you'd like to call me.
