1999 Z28, M6, NBM in IL
I'm looking to sell my 6-speed 1999 Z28 with 90k miles. It's Navy Blue Metallic with gray cloth interior. T-tops, factory CD.
Just got an SLP Loudmouth II and Strange/Motive 4.10 gear installed by FLP less than two months ago. Dan from FLP also gave it one of their "basic tunes." It also has recent ceramic brake pads and rotors with stainless steel lines. Clutch, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, pressure plate, etc replaced in 7/05 by Dragan's shop. Rear axle bearings were replaced in 9/05 by Dragan's shop. Bridgstone RE730 tires have maybe 15k on them. I have receipts for everything ever done to this car.
Car has no mechanical problems at all. Overall, it is in well-maintained, daily-driver condition. No rust, non-smoker. I'm really just selling it because my commute is over 100 miles a day and I'm looking to get something more suited to a longer commute. I have two other toys, so the Z28 gets bumped.
It has been throwing a check engine light for a few months. I've had the code checked and it turned out to be the EGR going bad. I thought FLP was going to delete the EGR when I took it there but they didn't. I don't have emissions testing or any LS1Edit-type software so clearing it wasn't/isn't a priority. It runs perfectly. Bring a code-reader along if you want. Most people pull the EGR off of most LS1s anyway.
I haven't paid the vehicle off yet, so there will be a delay in getting the title once the payoff is sent. Usually 7-10 days. I understand selling a car with a lien on it is more difficult, so my price is negotiable to expedite the sale.
Looking for $8000/obo. Make an offer.
