1998 Ss M6 57k

Up for sale is my Blue 1998 Camaro SS 6 speed. Pretty much all stock except for the SLP lid and K&N air filter I have put on it. I acquired the car at around 46-47k miles and it now has almost 57k on the clock. Runs great with no problems. In the last few thousand miles I have changed the tranny fluid with GM Syncromesh, Brakes were just replaced with Hawk Performance brake pads, fronts and rears (they do squeal lightly at times now though). Oil has always been changed with Mobil 1 Full Syn, Most recent at 55,500. Tires have 10k on them. Known flaws ~ a few scratches on front lower bumper LIP (everyday driving) not bad at all, carpet on passenger side floor has a wear spot but is covered with the floor mat, Paint on the rear hatch under the spoiler and right in front of it looks like it has small cracks in it when you look close at it, and 2 small 3/4 inch scratches on the rear spoiler. It currently has a Clarion stereo set up with the cd receiver, mids up front with tweeters, amp, crossovers, and capacitor, enclosed in box in the rear. The rear speakers are not hooked up they will require another set of crossovers and there are no subs. I am having another kid and need to sell this car to buy another daily driver. All i am asking is the payoff for the car which is 9,182$ and its yours. Take over payments 187.00 month, payoff the car i dont care i just dont have the time or money to keep this car in my garage anymore. I had the car listed before but had some family problems and was unable to assist in the sale of it. I will be able to answer any questions or get more pics on request now. Please email me at taxiwardance@hotmail.com if you have any questions. You can view a few pics here, scroll down about half way.

Re: 1998 Ss M6 57k

If there’s anybody I haven’t gotten back to please pm me and I will get you my Phone #. been very busy lately. Sorry if I haven’t responded right away.

Here are a few of the terms i found out when i called capitol one

Most financial institutions offer an option for “change of ownership” which simply is a way to transfer payments and balance to a willing purchaser of the vehicle once their credit is approved. But I called Capitol One today and they told me they don’t have this option. So 3 ways of going about the sale.
1 ~ Bring the money write a bill of sale make everything as legal as possible and the title will be mailed to you.
2 ~ Call Capitol One, get approved through their financing department and use the loan account # to transfer the remaining balance to a NEW account with your approved APR and whatever month term you decide on. OR
3 ~ get approved through your bank and have them payoff the loan and become the new lien holder.

I have since made another payment on the car so to move the car the price is $8,995 FIRM or $9,100 with they Y pipe and O2 Sims. The car is not perfect but is in very good shape. For the price and only having 57,XXX miles your not going to find a better deal. Capitol One does not offer a payment transfer, so get approved by your bank or bring some green and drive away with it. Also included with the car is a set of 8 NGK Iridium spark plugs and a new drive belt. (put in some Bosch platinum 4’s and didn’t care for them much)

KBB private Party Value ~ $9,825.00
KBB Retail Value ~ $12,270.00

If this thing is still in my drive in a couple of weeks it will fall victim to the dealer trade in section.

SS Pkg
Air Conditioning
Power Steering
Power Windows
Power Door Locks
Tilt Wheel
Cruise Control
AM/FM Stereo
Single Compact Disc
Premium Sound
Dual Front Air Bags
ABS (4-Wheel)
Leather
Power Seat
Rear Spoiler
Premium Wheels

Will consider trades + cash or cash + trades for a 2000+ 4 door with low miles and would prefer some kind of remaining factory warranty. No more thank 15K$ though. Send me a PM and I will get you my phone #.

Re: 1998 Ss M6 57k

UPDATE:

If there is anybody I have talked to on the car and have not gotten back to I apologize I’ve been very busy and haven’t had the chance to call or email everyone back. The car is still for sale and the current mileage is 58,8XX may be 59,XXX by the time it is sold. My digital cam took a crap and my yahoo pictures are the only pics I have right now. There have been a few people that needed more pics and I never got them out. I will not be able to do a trade because I’m going to be buying a new vehicle but if anyone has an extremely cheap beater they want to toss into the deal it would make things much easier because at this moment this is my only car, and I cant buy a new car with my loan out right now. So I’m kind of screwed unless I sell it and bum a ride for a little while or pick up a very cheap beater that will last a few weeks.

If you are interested please EMAIL ME at jhawkins83@insightbb.com I don’t check my PM’s very often so I may overlook them. Send your mailing address and any other questions as well. And I will mail you a CD with a 10 min video walk around of the car and a printed Carfax report. Car has no Ttops and no rust. I have driven it in snow twice this year (first winter for car) and wash the car and undercarriage religiously to prevent any damage from salt on the road.

Price of the car is 8,900.00
My Capitol One payoff is 8,650.00

Figure out with your financial institute how to go about changing the lien holder because Capitol One is of little help. I personally would not recommend them in the future if you ever look into buying a car.

I Will also give you my phone number if you would like and you can reach me anytime after 6pm central time if you would like to talk to me.

If you get the video and all the info and decide you want the car a 700$ deposit will be required if you want me to hold the car for you. Car Must be paid and picked up in 15 days from deposit. If this car is not sold by the end of Feb it will go to a local auction.
