Exclamation 1997 30th Anniversary Edition SS #1819

1997 Chevrolet Camaro Hardtop Super Sport 30th Anniversary Edition #1819

This is one of the most recognizable anniversary edition vehicles ever made! Equipped with the particular options this model is 1 of 64 30th Anniversary Edition Super Sports ever made. Additional options from SLP includes Bilstein shocks, special edition SLP Springs, and a 3.42 rear gear package that includes a AAM Aluminum rear differential cover. The factory 12 Disc changer with the Mosoon head unit is also a nice touch.

Other added bolt-ons includes a K&N Filter for the SLP SS intake that is functional with the hood. The additions I made includes jet coated SLP Headers and a SLP Loud Mouth exhaust - to make this one unique SS!

I also added zinc plated Power Slot rotors that are slotted and dimpled along with Hawk Performance Racing brake pads. Along with MSD 8.5mm performance spark plug wires. This car is in great shape, adult owned and maintained!

Once purchased you can use the VIN number to order a Super Sport Birth Certificate from SLP. This SS has already been verified with SLP and SSOA - Super Sport Owner's Assoication.

Is it a hardtop or ttops, and would you consider trade for an even more rare, LT4 Firehawk? I always prefered the SS's over them.

It's a hardtop or coupe, open to a trade even for a truck. Send me pics or a link to pics of the Firehawk

Hey Iroc,

I saw this same car on ebay being listed under your username and you were previously looking for only $4999.99 buy it now. It seem to good to be true, so I though "what the heck" theres no harm making an offer. So I emailed you and never got a responce, later that day I was curious to see the status of the auction and noticed you had placed aditional information at the bottom of the description stating that your ebay email was not functioning correctly so to send all inquires and questions for the buy it now of $4999.99 with free shipping to a yahoo based email. I proceeded as you instructed, 2 hours later I receive a reply and the email stated the car was in some third-world country and that you would accept my offer on condition I make a 50% Down-Payment then proceed with the second half of the funds after I received and inspected the car. I was also informed by you(?) in the email that you have a freind that worked for some car shipping company and could get the car shipped cheap. Sound Familiar? Let me know what the deal on the situation is because If that was not you then someone has been breaking into your account or something of that nature. May no offense be taken I am just trying to keep things fair in the community.

Regards,
Al

Re: 1997 30th Anniversary Edition SS #1819

That auction was listed fradulently through my ebay account, they also managed to hack into my Hotmail account. I am still unable to access my Hotmail account which is why you never received an email from me explaning the particulars of the real auctions:
Auction One

Auction Two

As you can see the car never sold because the reserve was never met. When I found out about the bogus auction which started on March 26th, the same day that the second auction ended, I contacted ebay to inform them of the fradulent auction and they quickly deleted the auction. If you have any information from the individual(s) that listed my SS fradulently on ebay and were going to defrad any of you that were interested PLEASE forward me any information you have from them as I can provide that information to ebay and hopefully prevent this from happening to someone. I sincerely apologize for any inconvience this bogus auction might have caused you, but let me assure you that I did not list it. The car and I are both located in Southern California not in a country outside of the US. Please contact me if you have any further questions about the vehicle, and again please forward me any information you received from the bogus seller as I hope to find a way to get them prosecuted. Thank you again

Randy,

I understand what you are saying, and I agree that it is bogus. I do not have any contact information as they did not supply me with any. I do hope eBay takes action against the individuals of whom were responsible for the auction. I am dearly sorry to hear the your unfortunate luck but do wish you well for the future. Well at least no one got ripped off I think it could of been worse. Thanks for the responce, Randy. Good Luck with selling the SS, it is indeed a cherry.

Regards,
Al

About the scams that have been on eBay. People with hotmail accounts listing cars on eBay are commonly susceptible to being hacked, especially eBay members whose Hotmail account name matches their eBay account name. Hotmail accounts are very easy to hack and figure out passwords for by using a program that randomly generates passwords. When the hacker relists the item under the victims account, they often have a low buy it now price, and sometimes only a buy it now, or if it isn't a buy it now auction but they mention that you can "buy it now", they are violating eBay terms and the auctions are cancelled.
