1996 Z28 Convertible A4
1996 Z28 Convertible A4
Trying to get $4000 for my Z28. It has a lot of new parts and comes with a few parts. Mileage is at 147,XXX. It hasn't been driven for a long time. It just sits in my garage collecting dust.
Some Highlights:
-BAER GT Plus front brakes and Track Plus rear brakes with new performance friction pads
-Damn near new Yokohoma tires 275/40/17 on real SS wheels
-lowered with Bilstein HD shocks, I can't remember the brand of springs but they used to be a sponsor here from CA a few years back (I think they were called Dynamic Motorsports)
-BMR subframe connectors, strut tower brace, rear control arms, adjustable panhard rod
-LM2 modular catback with LM1 muffler included if you want to make it really loud
-LT4 Hotcam kit and LT4 extreme duty timing chain kit, Comp Cams "R" lifters, hardened one piece push rods and rebuilt stock heads
-RK Sport 94-95 style mid length coated headers and single high flow dynomax cat (passed WA Pierce county emmisions no problem last time)
-PCM for less tuning
-New GM opti, GM waterpump, LT4 composite valve covers, OTVC wire looms with Taylor 8mm wires
-Edelbrock 52mm TB and Ford SVO 30# injectors
-LS1 Aluminum drive shaft
-Almost new Optima Red Top
-New GM heater core
-K&N Intake
-Accel 300 ignition box
-Transmission is from a 95 Z28 and only has around 50k on it. I'll throw in the original trans with around 137k on it
-Corbeau GTSII front seats
-Panasonic "Ghost screen" head unit with aux input for ipod, etc.
-All 4 speakers were replaced with stock size Sony 3 way speakers
-Rear seat and belts are removed and a carpeted speaker box is in its place. Mono Fosgate subwoofer amp and one hard hitting Fosgate 8" woofer.
The list goes on and on. I'd have to really think about all of the other things that it has. I have a pretty fat envelope of receipts for most of the last round of mods I did to it.
The Bad:
Convertible top is not in the best shape. Power windows move really slow. Has exhaust leaks, popping sound from front end during slow speed turning. Probably needs a front end rebuild. I've had this car since 2000 when it has 32k on it. The body is pretty straight for a 12 year old car. Still looks pretty good cleaned up. These problems are reflected in the low price. I have a few extra parts I'll throw in with it like rear control arm relocation brackets, some hoses, original transmission, etc. I'm close to Tacoma Wa. Feel free to pm me with questions.

I'll be cleaning it up this weekend nd hopefully finishing the speaker box that goes where the back seats were. I'm ready to start entertaining offers. I have taken good care of this care for most of its life. The cylinder walls looked good when I had the heads off. No ridge and cross hatching very visible. I've ran Mobil 1 in it since 32k when I bought it.
Not to be a dick, but negotiations usually start with the potential buyer offering his top dollar and then the seller counter offering. I'd be screwing myself by giving you my bottom dollar right at the start. Also, that gives me an idea of what you are willing to pay. PM sent.
