1996 WS6 TA in TX $8K
1996 WS6 TA in TX $8K
If you've followed my threads you know why I'm selling. I'm not in a huge rush but...
Anyway here goes -
1996 WS6 TA hardtop (ie no squeeks or leaks)
67K miles at this time
exterior and interior are in great shape and have been Zainoed since I've owned it. (ie no tears in seats or stains in carpet, no weird smells, etc)(no dents or dings in quarters, etc)
new window motors on both sides
tinted windows
new rear brakes (pads and rotors)
new wipers
Just replaced the intake gaskets (and you can be assure it was done right!)
front and rear main seals were replaced not too long ago, as was the fuel pump
Mobile 1 oil and Purolator PureONE filters every 3k miles
Here are the only mods
Hurst Billet Plus shifter + Lou's short stick ( I have the stocker shifter too), CAG eliminator (no skip shift) with Penzoil Synchromesh
CSR electric pump.
Second Skin Audio sound deadening.
Right now I have an aftermarket stereo in it, but I'm restoring the factory premium CD player with the exception of the MB quarts which I am leaving in the front due to the stockers being blown.
Everything else is stock!
The only abnormal things that I feel I should mention is the front bumper has the holes from the license plate holder I took off and the rear bumper has a tear in it from being bumped with a trailer hitch. It's not horrible but if I feel it keeps me from selling the car at a good price I will replace the cover. I also get a slight squeek from the rear brakes, I think I need to reapply the Brake Quiet, besides that they stop very well. The driver side window tint has a few small scratches in it due to a cracked window stabilizer which I already replaced.
Overall I would give the exterior an 8/10 (i'm VERY picky) due to normal wear from rock ships and a few small scratches, but the paint is very nice. The rims are in good shape as well with a some very small curbage on one of the fronts from the prevoious owner.
I would give the interior a 8.5/10. It's not what I would call brand new but it is in awesome shape and better than 90% of the f-bodies I've seen out there. I took lots of care to get the carpet VERY clean and removed ALL stains. The seats are in really good shape with a couple of shiny spots in the normal places but there is NO threads showing or serious wear marks. I use Zaino leather cleaner and treatment every week. The engine is very clean as well with no sludge or highway dust covering it. Most of the original clips and covers are in place (yes even the power distribution block's cover!) Mechanically the car is 9/10, it is well mantained, doesn't leak anything as far as I can tell, hasn't been beat on or modified and the clutch seems to be fairly solid.
In case you missed it, the car is a HARD TOP! If you're looking for an LT1 car to mod for performance that has great looks it doesn't get any better than a hardtop M6 WS6. It's the car I've always wanted but sometimes there are other prioroties.
I'm looking for $8000 as is or $8600 with a new rear bumper cover.
I'll try to have some more pics up later this week, but this is what I got right now.
