1996 WS6 - Silver - $5,500
1996 WS6 - Silver - $5,500
Offering up my WS6.
Located in central Maryland
1996 WS6, 6-speed, T-tops, Silver with Charcoal leather interior. Factory painted (silver) 17" WS6 wheels.
Very rare color...I've never personally seen another one. I figure there were less than 100 made in Silver.
Details:
~120,000 miles, I've had it since ~50k.
Paint is "ok". Looks good from 10 feet, but there are a couple minor chips, and the hood has the infamous "bubbles".
Engine runs a little low on oil pressure when it gets hot. Normal cruising it is fine, but in traffic in the summer it gets pretty low. Still pulls strong though when it gets some throttle encouragement.
Transmission: Pops out of 3rd under very low rpms (like a bunch of others), and is tough to get into 3rd under WOT/maxed RPM speed shifts. Replacement clutch probably has 8k miles.
Modifications:
Suspension
Eibach Pro Kit springs
Bilstein shocks
Boxed control arms and panhard bar
LS1 front brakes
Hotchkis sway bars w/poly bushings
Edlebrock strut tower brace
Engine
Comp Cams CC305 cam
Comp Cams valve springs
1.6:1 Roller Rockers
Hardened pushrods
Ported heads
8mm Taylor wires
Mac mid-length headers
(all done at ~80k miles)
Interior
Pro 5.0 shifter
It's been edited to eliminate rearward O2 sensors, skip shift, and EGR, but that's about it. It dynoed 351hp several years ago after I installed the engine mods. I have the dyno sheet somewhere. Ran 12.6 @ ~112mph with 4.10 gears and 17" drag radials (1.95 60' I think), but hasn't seen the track in about 5 years. I have that slip somewhere too. There's lots more details that I'm forgetting, so if you have questions, please PM or email me. I've had this car since 2000, and it will be tough to let go, but I think it might be time.
Here's a couple of older pics (before Eibachs)...I'll post recent ones when I get home.
