1996 Pontiac WS6 Formula
1996 Pontiac WS6 Formula
We've decided to put the WS6 up for sale.
We are the original owners to the car, ordered it from Anderson Pontiac in Baltimore, MD. Just under 70K on car, 21K on crate engine that warranty replaced because the oil pump pickup fell off, 36K on trans that also was replaced under warranty for popping out of gear. It has quite a few mods done over the years. I have all paperwork from when the car was shipped to the dealer to now. I did sell the car in '01 to a co-worker with 58K miles. He had the car until I bought it back in '09 with 60K miles. So you can see it basically sat in his garage the entire time he owned it. I can tell you anything you want to know about the car. Here's the mod list for those interested, car ran a best of 12.44@111 on a 1.75 back in 2001 right before I sold it. That was the last time it was at the track. Car runs great, took it for a 700 mile round trip and it got 25mpg. Everything works. Only 2 problems right now, the windows going up and down real slow. I did buy 2 brand new AC Delco window motors that will go with the car, just haven't had time to put those in. The gears whine in the rear, more annoying than anything else but that's what the radio is for
I'm sure I'm leaving something out but that's pretty much it.
Here's a mod list for the car:
Engine:
Reprogrammed '95 computer
LT4 HOT cam and extreme duty timing chain
Crane Gold 1.6 roller rockers
IRS valve springs
Crane Hardened push rods
