1996 m6 ta

i have my 96 ta that i just got for sale. only reason i am sellin it is because of school and gas is gettin real expensive lol. but the car is a 96 m6 lt1. black with t-tops. paint is pretty good, just has pressure cracks on the front and rear bumpers and about a quarter size dent in the drivers side rear quarter. the glass has windshield wiper scratches on it, but i was told that they could be buffed out by a couple of glass experts. the interior is in all right shape. it is tan cloth, the seats i am pretty sure dont have any tears in them and to be honest the worst thing about the interior is the head liner. around where the t-tops meet is showing the cardboard under the tan. the filler panel on the dash is also cracked and would need to be replaced. just put pretty nice cd-player in it and it will also have this sub box in there http://subthump.com/acamarostealth.htm with a 10 inch sub. car should sound pretty good.
the car has right at 112,000 miles on it and the tranny shifts real smooth no problems there it has a b&m ripper shifter so ya got that short shift, and it also has a stage 2 clutch that was replaced about a year ago or so. the rear end was replaced with a ls1 rear end and it has about 40,000 miles on it. the e-brake doesnt work with the ls1 cables, but i have the cables that will work, just havent put them on.
the motor runs great but the only thing is that it is leaking oil from the rear main seal. the guy who i just got it from replaced it and the oil pan gasket but it is still leaking. i think that oil pan is warped and that would fix the problem but i dont really know. the check engine light is on and the code is 1321, which is ignition coil control circuit, high voltage... which i think means that the coil needs to be replaced. the opti spark was replaced within a year as well.
but the car has no modifications done to it. i just bought a set of 4.10 gears for it and a march underdrive pulley which i might throw in with the car if interested. so just let me know what you think and here is a link to the car before the pressure cracks in the front and rear bumpers.
http://www.jaxracing.com/ubbthreads...sb=5&o=&fpart=1. car has everything done on that page except the long tube headers and hooker cat back. and scroll down the page a lil bit more and there are more pics
asking $6000 obo located in jacksonville florida

Re: 1996 m6 ta

Hey.. I am not wanting to pull anyones chain and make promises that I cant keep.. however I was planning on trading my 92 camaro for a TransAm in June.. I am getting married May 20th and wanted to wait until after the wedding to buy one.. However this is a great deal on what appears to be a great car.. so I will keep in touch with you and I am going to try and sell my car quickly so that I can get yours.. like I said I cant promise anything because it depends on how quickly mine sells.. but as long as you still have this TransAm when my car sells I will definatly take it off your hands.. Just some FYI.. I got your email address saved and will keep in touch.. and if you do end up selling it please post and let me know somehow.. Thanks again
