1996 Firebird Formula
It makes me sad to do this and its not even my car. But posting this for a good friend of mine.

The new tranny & converter was just put in around 4000 miles ago. It was built by the same guys that build the trannys for LS1speed. He bought it off a board member on mfba.org The tranny was just refreshed and converter was restalled before he bought it. Royal Purple fuild in the tranny.
The top end was redone in the March 04. He blew a timing chain. Put in new CC 305, CC lifters, Crane 10308 springs, new stock timing chain, pushrods, and the heads got checked out and a valve job. All new gaskets. The only gasket on the whole motor that hasn't been changed is the oil pan. Oil changed every 3000 with Mobil 1 syn.
New Alt., opti, water pump were put on in the middle of 03
The car has about 94000 on it, and run great except for the opti likes to play some games. Not very often, but it will pick up a missfire on one cly. for a few secounds then go away. I beleive its just the opti, has new MSD coil, MSD 8.5 wire, knock sensor,and new NGK TR-6 plugs.
New rims (SS 17x9.5) and tires (Nitto 555 front 555R DR's rear) in the middle of 04. Lots of life let on all four.
