1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, 6sp, hardtop, 120k, RARE options, $2500, Chicago
The time has come to sell the other Camaro...
I have a 1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, 6 speed manual transmission, 3:42 rear gears, hardtop, rare Dark Purple Metallic exterior color (Cyclamen as GM calls it), black leather interior, original optioned and very rare chrome 16" salad shooter wheels, in-dash Sirius Satellite radio w/ CD/MP3 disc player, and 120+k miles.
I have owned this car since 2003 as it was my fun, daily driver while my SS at the time was in storage. It has a few bolt on mods, the SLP Cold Air Intake, SLP Strut Tower Brace, SLP bolt-on Sub Frame Connectors, skip shift eliminator, and the SLP Clutch/Flywheel package that was installed at Speed, Inc. in Schaumburg, IL. It also has a basic Magnaflow Cat Back that does give a little rumble to it. Back in 2005 it had all spark plugs replaced, driver's side door regulator, and regularly had all maintenance done on it, i.e., fluids, filters, etc.
The car has been sitting on the driveway of my parents house for a while, as I haven't driven the car or started it since 2005. It will need 4 new tires and a battery, and obviously a little TLC from the right owner.
I have a few documents for the collector to go with and a few original brochures, as well as the original GM/Helm 1996 F-Body Shop Manuals for anyone that wants to do their own repair.
There are a few dings and dents, a small dent on the front hood where someone backed into me at the time, and the previous owner stupidly drilled a hole in the front for the license plate to go, but otherwise when the car was clean and running, it pulled like a son-of-a-bitch and stands out for the rare Purple and chromed salad shooter wheel combination.
So whether you're looking to get a cheap second Camaro for a daily driver like I did, or if you're looking to get a hardtop to build and eventually race at the dragstrip, I have priced this fair enough to give someone a great deal considering this is winter in the midwest.
$2500. Car is located in the Chicagoland area, so if you have any questions please let me know.

Other recent pics can be seen here. Sorry for the snow falling in the pictures.
