I bought the car a year ago...it looks like the transmission was recently out. Looks like the clutch was replaced...it holds just fine and is pretty smooth. Its pretty clean....doesn't look like it has seen much salt, if any.
Everything on the car works...I haven't had a single problem with it. I changed the engine oil and filter, transmission fluid, and rear axle fluid the day after I bought it.....Northland oil, AC Delco filter (PF454) and GM LSD additive. Since then, I've changed oil at 3k miles and fill give it a fresh oil change upon sale.
I have put Hawk HPS brake pads with new rotors on all four corners. It also has a new AC Delco battery.
I haven't drag raced the car...but it should be good for a high 13 pass at 100 mph or so.
According to its warranty history report, the catayltic converters were replaced at 77,256 miles on May 10th, 2003. The claim was by Crescent Chevrolet in Des Moines, Iowa. Was orginally sold by Pat McGrath Chevrolet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It has been in Iowa its entire life it seems, but doesn't look to have seen much salt.
It came with the following modifications....
-Moroso Cold Air Intake
-Edlebrock Throttle Body
-Cat-back exhaust....I dont' know what brand, but it sounds good...two tips on the left hand side of the rear bumper.
-Motegi 17" by 9.5" wheels
-Falken FK451B 275/40/17 tires at 2/32"...they need replaced.
-Front clear corner markers.
Included with the sale...
-One set of keys and one fob.
-Owners manual.
-Car cover.
I'm located in Elkhart, Iowa (50073)...which is just north of Des Monies on I-35.
I'm asking $6800.
