1996 Black Formula Sale or Trade--GORGEOUS
#1
1996 Black Formula Sale --GORGEOUS price dropped to $7400
Well, here's the deal:
1996 Firebird Formula
Color: Black
Transmission: A4
Mileage: 67,500
Options: t-tops, 10-speaker system, power doors/locks; pretty much everything but leather.
gearset: 3.23
Pros:
*Paint is great. only 1 tiny rock chip and 1 small (less than an inch long) scratch from a rock. Any other blemishes are buffable. But they are few and far between. I believe I am the second owner, but could even be third...can't remember. Either way, this thing has definitely spent lots of time in a garage.
*The car runs very strong and very smooth. transmission shifts crisp and hard. This car has lots of life left.
*No loss or use of oil.
*No t-top leaks
*Tires are pretty new with only 3,500 miles. They are Fuzion ZR tires. Very cool tread pattern and have so far been excellent quality. I have a warranty with Firestone on them, as well.
Cons:
*There is >>sometimes<<, but not always, a little bit of a noise from under the car when coming to a complete stop. It is not loud or nasty, but it is there. I have talked with several people who experience the same sorts of noises, and nobody seems to have a cure. Don't let this stop your interest in the car. It is not even that noticable. My friend at GM (certified mechanic) tells me this is "normal" and not to worry about it. I'm not concerned about it, but just so you know....
*One of the windows leaks some air over 60 mph. no water leaks, just air. not terrible, but once again, it's there. An easy fix I would say, and most of these cars do have leaks.
These are things most people probably wouldn't mention, as they in no way detract from this car, but I want to be totally up front about the car. This beauty is just GORGEOUS with glossy black paint and t-tops. Damn, it looks nice . I've decided I need a 6-speed so I can throw in some 4.10s and a Lloyd Elliott package without losing all my gas mileage (it's a daily driver for me). This one is definitely a keeper and worth the money.
If you're interested, pm or e-mail me: erickebay@hotmail dot com
I can get pics if anyone is interested.
New Asking Price: $7400 firm
OR I would consider a trade for a '96 or newer 6-speed LT1 car. black or silver with t-tops. would be odd to trade out just with transmission difference, but if anyone is intersted, there you go.

Thanks for the interest, but the car was sold on ebay a couple of days ago. It's SUPPOSED to be picked up Sunday. If it falls through I will give you a buzz. Here are pics:
