Hey Guys, I am entertaining the notion of possibly selling my car. I have a ton of things I need to do so I need the money. What do you guys think I can get for my car? I have owned this car since 1997 and has been pampered and garage kept since then. It has no A/C but I do have all the parts and it needs rear tires. Beautiful car!

How much power did it make and which procharger do you have?

Thanks RealQuick!!
I didn't want to rely on boost only to make my power so I am only running 8lbs. I had my procharger P600b rebuilt and threw it on. it made 540rwhp and 498 lb-ft.

The market sucks... but I think you could probably get 12k for it. I'd list it for 15k and see what happens.

In that range is what I was thinking. Yeah, your right about the market. Unfortunately, i'm in a bind and what worse time to be in a bind than when the market sucks....
Car has alot of work and detail and far more $$ into it than that.

WOW! there really isn't much interest for a fixed up LT1 Z nowadays. Is it that these cars are still too "new"? Would a little more time bring the value up? I was testing the waters and if the price is fair I would sell it if not I guess I'll keep it till the market gets better or age brings the value up. Don't know. Not really a car appraiser. Any Thoughts?

Your only two options are....sell it PART BY PART....OR KEEP IT

Id go with option #2

Re: 1995 Camaro Z28 383 Supercharged with LOTS OF STUFF!!

the car is beautiful, but I think it will take some time to sell at that price. Keep in mind most guys are like you and have had their cars for a long time and spending 12k to get into another lt1 probably wouldn't work. I think the lt1 customer at this point is the 16-22 year old that can't afford a LS1 car and only has maybe 5k to spend. If you are over 5k, I think most guys go into the LS1 car then. Keep in mind only old stock cars with low mileage are worth money as they get older.

So my vote is keep it and enjoy it and use it. or if you are in a bind, you can at least sell off the motor/blower setup and go buy a cheap used motor and throw it in and maximize it that way.

market sucks, we all know.

I agree. you make perfect sense. Depending on the offer, I will be willing to sell it for less than $12,000.

Thanks. I appreciate it. She is beautiful but unfortunately I need to sell her.
