1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 1LE - Garage Kept - VERY NICE!
This Z/28 1LE in ultra-blue metallic is a one owner car with less than 61,000 miles and has been garage kept since 1994. It has the 305 TPI, 5-speed option. This is a really nice car that has been driven but well taken care of. It is a really fun car to drive and handles great! For all of the 1LE options and the story please follow the link below.

Chevrolet built only 478 Z/28 Coupes with "1LE" equipment for 1991, of which only 289 were 5-speeds!
This has the RPO G80 Limited-slip rear axle which is an Auburn posi unit & G92 RPO. RPO G92 includes engine oil cooler, 4-wheel disc brakes and dual-converter exhaust. It also adds heavy-duty front brakes, aluminum driveshaft and a spare wheel, special shocks and fuel pickup, and a gas tank baffle. For weight savings and improved cooling fog lamps were deleted. This build also has a radio delete, but I installed a radio when I bought the car. This car had a dealer repaint in late 1993 as the factory paint was peeling off (common for late 80's and early 90's Chevrolets). This was done at the dealership I purchased the car from, the now defunct Tom Bannen Chevrolet. I have replaced the original ring and pinion (3.42) with a 3.73. This car does not have the original heads, camshaft, runners or throttle body. The runners are larger as well as the throttle body is now a 52mm. The base plate has been extrude honed. This car has shorty headers, the dual cat setup has been replaced with "a more open" system, I do still have the dual cat setup and it will bolt back right in place. This car also has a flowmaster muffler, it sure sounds great! This Camaro Z28 1LE has many of the "bolt on" performance parts of the early 90's, i.e. under drive pulleys, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, short throw shifter etc.
The car has never been wrecked, but has a small paint chip here and there, a scratch on the right rear fender well opening and the paint at the top of the driver side door has peeled slightly (see pics). Also like many GM cars of this era, the headliner is sagging slightly in the right rear corner. At one point a mouse got into the car and chewed a small hole in the passenger rear seat bottom (see picture).
I also have an extra set of original model rear wheels for this car along with the original pulleys and the earlier mentioned dual cat setup.
