1990 IROC-Z 11.66 @ 117.20 with only 33,110 miles Located In Virginia

NEW PRICE AS OF 2/23/2008 $8,250

Pictures and old price are at bottom of write up.

The car has 33,110 miles. I am the third owner of this car. I purchased it May 5, 2004 from a fellow member of a car enthusiast site who actually built the car to what it is today. The only things I changed about the car from the way it was built is I swapped in the non-AC box, re-installed the fog lights and put in a new heater core. The car has run a best of 11.66 @ 117.20 by the previous owner and I have the video he took of the run.

The car is incredible, a total blast to drive, but I am changing things in my life. Car has a “secret” custom grind cam that I promised the previous owner I would never give out unless I sold the car. If you ask what the cam specs are I will NOT tell you until you have bought the car. If you can’t live with that then you will have to move on. My word is all I have. Obviously, if you buy the car you will receive the cam specs. The cam is a Lethal EFI Performance Custom Cam by Joe Overton. The car is tuned by TRAXION, whom also built the car and I have a TREMENDOUS amount of respect for.

Want to have a 33,110 mile stock IROC? I have many, many of the parts that will bring it back to stock that comes with the car! It’s up to you how you keep the car, but with 33,110 miles, it will likely increase in value, especially being that it is a ’90 IROC-Z-hardtop-L98. Car has many, many receipts as well as the original window sticker laminated. Everything is numbers matching. Car also comes with another set of 16” IROC rims, with the rears having BFG Drag Radials. I’ve never used them; I’ve never taken the car to the track during my ownership.

I’m selling this car and my ’91 Z28 and my ’92 Liberator 201 due to life stepping in and changing things. I sincerely hate to get rid of the IROC, I know I will miss it and I know I will want it back one day.

Negatives:

-Previous owner had the car scrape driver’s side rear bumper cover. You can clearly see this in the picture.
-Very minor nearly unnoticeable indentation driver’s side door.
-The turn signal has a slight problem when initiating a left turn signal. Most of the time you have to pull it forward just slightly while clicking it to the left. This has been like this through at least two of the three ownerships.
-I was told the trip odometer works, but not perfectly. I honestly haven’t noticed, but I have put only 282 miles on the car during my entire ownership.

THE CAR IS SOLD AS IS WHERE IS. THERE IS NO WARRANTY AT ALL. The buyer is relying solely on his/her own inspection, and not on any written or verbal representations made by myself or anyone else as to the condition of the vehicle. I strongly advise you to be a good driver. No offense, but this car is not for irresponsible drivers. I am not responsible for anything that happens to you or the car. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping.

The item is being transferred on an "as is where is basis" with no warranties expressed or implied as to the condition of the item. Furthermore, the "buyer" agrees to hold the "seller" and his heirs free from liability if any damage occurs from the use or transportation of the item sold.

Hey Guys and Gals,

Wife has ruled with an iron fist and has said she would also *consider* trades on the following type vehicles:

Suburban
Suburban type vehicles
Trucks, preferably crew cab 4x4's 2500's etc., diesel preferred, gas okay
Minivan's

All would have to be straight up trades, or trade with cash to us. No rust please.

Of course, we will still prefer to sell outright still.

any interest

I have this for sale or trade let me know if your interested
thanks for looking!!
I built this to keep forever so everything that went into it was the best I have only 1500 miles on it since everything was put back together.
.This has been mid 12's on bad street tires the engine is built for a 200 shot of nitrous. I have invested close to 15k in the car over the last 3 years but the wife says it has to go. So review let me know if your interested I know we got some distance but if interested maybe we can work that out.
thanks for looking

I apologize to eddies26 and kcjoker27, for some reason I never received an email of a reply to my ad, so I am just now finding these replies. I apologize very sincerely.

eddies26, that sounds like an awesome car in all seriousness. But, I left 4th gens in 1996 and really am not looking to get back into them. Your car sounds awesome though. Good luck to you.

Yes, the car is still for sale I just failed to receive the emails of the replies I've gotten. I'm sorry about that.
