1980 Camaro Z28 $8,500 O.B.O...

Im trying to help a friend sell his car, located in Brookfield Wisconsin. Details as follows...

Alright ladies and gents, my buddy has a 1980 Z28 that he is looking to sell. He does not want to sell this car and has owned it since May of 1999 and he is the 2nd owner of this vehicle since it came off the assembley line.

His father had helped him purchase this car in 99' and they "tinkered" around with it and drove it for some years. His father passed a few years back and this car has MUCH sentimental value to him beyond your wildest dreams. BUT recently his wife left him and filed for Divorce. This is pretty much his own way out is to sell his pride and joy. Enough with the life story...

Almost all orignal 80 Z28, the car has 83K orig miles, auto, hard top. It is the orignal motor and transmission. Both owner of the car stored it every winter and never drove it in the rain. This car was and still is very cared for, it even has the orig exhaust! I have seen this ride in person many times and had the opprotunity to snap some quick shots of it today. When Greg started the car up not one puff of smoke came out of the exhaust, the car started flawlessly.

The only things changed on thie car was (1) the rearend, I guess it didnt come with a posi rear so the entire rearend was swapped out for another directly from a doner car some years back. The new rearend was then sand blasted and painted black. Also the gears were changed, he can't remember for the life of him what was put in place of the stockers, Im gonna guess somewhere around 373's. (Not 100% sure). It even still has the orignal spare and orignal jack which is crazy cause that **** is usually long gone when a car is 27 years of age.

It also has the orignal paint and wheels, keep in mind the car is almost 30yrs old. It has the usualy chips and some very minimal discoloration to the paint but NO ROT OR RUST on the body.

Here are a few quick shots of it, if you are intrested in more pics or specific pics let me know and I can get them asap. Also if seriously intrested call Greg Maly @ (262)-893-4570 and if he dosen't answer leave a voice message and he will get back to you asap. He really needs to sell this car quick so if intrested hit him up. The car is located in Waukesha/Brookfield right off Barker in his apt garage. He is putting the asking price @ $8,500 O.B.O.! He is entertaining offers... thanks for looking.

That thing is beautiful. It would be amazing with an LT1 or LSx swap

Camaro

Do you have any more pictures of the car? Im from beaver dam, WI and am very interested. I had a 81 Z28 and sold it for a 94 camaro (biggest mistake of my life). If you have any pictures under the hood and interior that would be nice. Also some of the defects in the paint (chips).

Thanks

Darn, I am still looking for an original 1980 Z28, but with t-tops and 4spd. Heavily optioned also. The way I ordered one back in 1980 but couldn't afford at the time.
Beautiful looking car though.
