1968 Pro Street Camaro with Dana 60
New 355 cubic inch V-8. Previous Owner quoted 450 horsepower stroker engine.
Body and chassis components have been modified as a Pro-Street Car including a steel roll cage.
4 wheel Disc Brakes!
Engine: Brodix Cast Iron Angle Plug Heads, ARP Head bolts, 4 Bolt Block, bored 0.030, ARP Main Studs,Scat Crank, 6” Scat Rods, SRP Pistons w/moly rings. Simmit SFI Steel Balancer, B&M SFI Flex Plate, Comp Cams Hydraulic Roller Can, Solid Lifters, Double Roller Timing Chain w/thrust bearings, Roller Rockers, Holley 670/Electric Choke, Hooker Competition Headers, Flowmaster Exhaust, 7 quart Oil pan with High Volume Pump, Edlebrock Victor Jr Aluminum Intake, Power Coil Distributor, Electric Fuel Pump with Regulator, Fuel Cell, Garret Aluminum Radiator, Electric Fan, Electric Water Pump, High Torque Starter, 100 Amp Chrome Alternator, Steel Braided Fuel/Brake Lines, K & N air filter.
Battery is rear trunk mounted for safety and traction purposes.
A new chromed alternator is installed.
The transmission is a high performance 2 speed Powerglide, with Transbrake, 3500 Stall Converter, Extra 2 quart Trans Pan, TCI Shifter, Transmission Cooler.
Hooker brand exhaust headers connected to a 3" O.D. exhaust system and Flowmaster brand mufflers.
The rear suspension of the vehicle inspected consists of a narrowed Dana 60 rear differential, with Locker, 4.11 Gears, Ladder Bars, Strange Axles 35 Spline, Custom Drive Shaft, Adjustable Coil- Over Shocks, Ladder Bars, Drive Shaft Loops.
The front suspension consists of many new components installed by previous owner.
Paint and body work was completed at an unconfirmed date some years ago by previous owner.
Original steel body panels are still utilized with fiberglass cowl hood, trunk lid, doors, wheel inner skirts, header panel and bumpers.
No excessive body filler or rust evident.
