1968 Camaro RS Street / Strip FOR SALE
This vehicle must go!
A year worth of cash, sweat and blood is my loss and your gain!
I own the internet domain 1968RS.COM.
This domain will be included in the sale and transferred to the new owner of this car when the transation is complete.
Located on Long Island, NY
Asking $20,000
I’m selling an amazing 1968 Camaro RS. Call Jake at 516-470-0820 or email c21inet@hotmail.com with any questions. Serious inquiries only, please.
The car has a mild 355 (about 400hp) that did 11.5’s @125mph at Englishtown. The cam shaft seems to have a rounded lobe on one cylinder so if you don’t drop a monster motor in this car right away, you’ll probably want to swap the cam. The motor still runs strong - it's just difficult to properly adjust the one lifter. Everything from the firewall back has been replaced in this car but so much has been done in front of the firewall, too! The car was built by the geniuses at ProFab Chassis in Whitehouse Station, NJ. There is an interior shot of the car being built on their web site. I have almost $50k into this car and I hate to let it go but it is time.
About the only thing not done to this car was the motor. With the 400hp 355, this is like buying a roller with a motor. It “only” has a 400hp 355 in it but the rest of the car is set up to handle a 1,000hp monster motor. This was going to be my next step with the car.
