Motor was hydrolocked by water filling up the air box when previous owner had it and I was working for Riverside chevy at the time it came in. His insurance co payed for a brand new ls1 goodwrench motor to be installed. I bought the car from him shortly after. Why did I replace the trans....well it's a T-56, need I say more? It was jumpin out of 2nd and 3rd and grinding in up and down shifts. So I had every part in it replaced with new upgraded parts.

Would you send me some pics of the engine compartment and interior to jpbarnes801@bellsouth.net? Also, what's the condition of the paint, glass and interior? What kind and size of the tires? Thanks, Jim

Yeah, the owner before me, a good friend of mine had it parked on an incline over labor day weekend 2 yrs ago. It was pouring and the airbox filled with water through the ram hood and hydrolocked the motor. Repair was made at Riverside chevy and payed for by ins co. I was working there as an advisor at the time and saw the motor replaced with my own eyes with a new goodwrench ls1. I have the receipts as well. I recently had a master cert tech at Riverside chevy in Tulsa ok install the cam, springs, pushrods, 12 bolt rearend, trans and clutch. Car is streetable and reliable, runs like a top, and gets 19-21 mpg on average intown tank of gas.
The trans is a T-56, need I say more? It was jumping out of gears and grinding, so I had every internal part replaced with upgraded parts. Kevlar synchros, steele shiftforks, etc. If I can find a way to keep the car I will and will put an adjustable slave on it and drill out the master cyl because as you all know they just don't shift as well as they should under load with out these mods. With those 2 things, a racing drive shaft, and sticky tires you have a solid high 11 sec car! It traps 116mph on street tire.

Can't wait to get the pics and answers to the questions I asked. I am VERY interested in this car! I'd also like to get the VIN too. Thanks. Jim

Any issues with the title as far as motor replacement? VIN?

What is the asking price w/o the wheels?

I would let the car go for $13900 without wheels if you have own wheels.
