When I had my Camaro I had the same setup that is now in my truck. It's all older gear, but sounds pretty good:
Two Rockford Fosgate He2 12" in a sealed box powered by a Fosgate 800a2 amp. The high/mids are just the factory speakers with the lows cut out. They aren't great, but I've stopped spending money on car audio long ago.

HU: Pioneer Premier DEH-P880PRS

Front Components: Elemental Designs eDi 6000s v.2

- powered by: Elemental Designs NINe.2

Subwoofer: TC Sounds TC-2000

- powered by: Kicker ZX750.1

Headunit = Eclipse CD4000
Fronts and Rears = Eclipse 6.5
4 Channel = Eclipse EA4000
Sub Amp = Eclipse XA1000
Subs = 12" Eclipse 4200's
full ipod and sirius as well

oh... and a 5 farad cap

yupp.... since then *that was the set up last summer* car is having LOTS of work done, as well as back seats are out, and another XA1000 was purchased... and subs are being upgraded to eclipse 8200's

not 2 mention the 0 Guage wire and the Python 990 protecting it all

cd5000, jl 500/1, 2 12w3v2, 300/4 jl, ba rs series 2 way. 0ga wire w 5 farad cap...
had a box made by subthump.com loved it

ps - i used to wor at circuit... hope you upgraded those subs... im sure you know they are just their entry line...

Actually, if you were just keeping stock carpeting there (as opposed to an amp board or something), I wouldn't blame ya for not wanting to cut into the factory carpet.
