I have a 97 Formula and physically these speakers look like they should fit, the only problem is I don't have a monsoon system, will they still work?

Depends, the auction dosent give you enough info to know. It says factory monsoon speakers. If thats the case then they wont work. Monsoon/Bose/Delco systems run the speakers are different ohms to achieve that crappy sounds LOL. So unless yoy got monsoon then they wont work. The other side is that they might just be sized to fit the locations but be normal aftermarket speakers. If thats the case then they will work. Get some mroe info about the speakers. It seems kinda shady anyway because they arent giving and solid info about anything

fyi, stock monsoon speakers are plain-old 4 ohms...
the only problem you are gonna have is hooking up the tweeters... because I don't know where exactly you would cut the frequencies...
