Will RF 6x9 Speakers fit in the hatch of the TA
I have a pair of RF 6x9 speakers and was wondering if it would fit in the hatch of the Trans AM and if its possible if any of you have pics of ithttp://rockfordfosgate.com/products/...nch%20Coaxials

I've been looking at the same thing. I'm almost sure it would work with a little planning and a dremel tool. Has anyone done this?
Re: Will RF 6x9 Speakers fit in the hatch of the TA
I've put some Alpine 6x9's in my car. Just used a dremel and an outline like you said. Its a little tight for the width so I was only able to use three of the screws to bolt it in, but it looks decent. I have about a 1/2" space in the area behind the speaker(toward the engine), where the cover would normally be. I wish I had a digital camera, and I would give you some pics.
Also I was not able to use the speaker covers, since the clearance is so close the the hatch lift supports, so you might need to fab up some speaker covers to protect the rubber from sun damage. Good luck!

Too bad on the pics, but at least we know it's not a big deal to do!
Would definately need to figure something out for the grilles, though.
Thanks!
