I have a 99 with the Monsoon system and a 12 disc cd changer in the back. But it dose not have a single up front can I just take it out and hook this one rite back up and still use the 12 disc. If not is there somthing else I would need to do to keep the 12 disc?

It might. Then again it might not. Most '99 CD players won't control the factory changer. Sometime durring the '99 model year they switched it so that it would but I don't know how you're supposed to tell which ones will and which ones won't.

 

PM the seller...see if they had the changer. They can be had cheaper than that as well.

Most GM radios will work in the 98+ Camaros. Like the problem with this one, though, depends if theyre compatible. MY friend has one on for about $80 on Ebay now.

 

Would you friends work with the CD changer? If so could you give me a link.

 

The factory CD player will NOT control the factory changer unless it is from around the second half of the '99 model year or later. Any CD player from before then will not work with the factory changer. The tape decks will but for whatever reason the CD players will not.
