I just today got a new '94 camaro Z28(yeh) and I previously had a '97 camaro. I was wondering if the CD Player from my '97 camaro would fit in the '94, because I know that in 1997 the changed the dash among other things!!!

 

Mounting is totally different.

 

He's right - won't fit without a completely custom mount. Plus, the 97 stock CD player actually runs different level outputs to front and back speakers (different ohms). I pulled my stock CD player out of my 97Z and saw a phenomenal difference. If you're going to amp your speakers and/or add a sub, it's well worth your time to get a new head unit (even a relatively inexpensive one) that has RCA outputs. Hope that helps!
