Alpine used to, but I'm 95% sure they have been discontinued. There are a couple brand new on Ebay, check em' out.

Alpine made the CDA-D852, CDA-D853, CDA-855, and CDA-D857 1.5 DIN HU's, but they were discontinued about 2 years ago. Finding one on eBay is fairly common though.

It's not high end, like Alpine, but Jensen makes several. I just replaced my failing Bose with a Jensen 7015, CD changer, and JL Audio 6 3/4 Coaxs. A stealthbox and amp will follow. It's a nice unit with CD and cassette, Fr, Rr and Subwoofer preamp outs, Aux in, and 60w peak per channel. Won't make "Car Audio," but it gives me music on every format I need, plus the aux in for future MP3 changer or Satellite radio.

Well, I drive the car to work, it sits in the parking lot for 3 or 4 days, while I'm flying around the country, I go home, and hop in my Vette, and I should spend big bucks on the stereo? Damn right, to each his own. BTW- learn to spell

learn to spell what? Why are you copping an attitude with me? I personally don't like jenson....and i'm sure there are plenty of other people around here that don't as well.....If you have the money to buy a vette why would you put jenson in it? might as well leave the stock system its worth more then jenson junk....you make no sence....

How about Jensen, or sense. As I mentioned in my post, "I just replaced my failing Bose" and I just wanted something that "gives me music on every format I need".

Also, if barfing on my choice ain't attitude, I don't know what is. I did mention it wasn't anything high-end, just music in my Z to get to work.

As for money, I'd rather spend it on LTs and a cam for the Vette.

Nothing wrong with Jensen.

How is there a relation between the type of cars you have and what stereo you can buy?

I forgot this is what i wanted to respond to originally.

I think that the 1.5 din stereos look much better and cleaner in the car. I think the adapter sticks out and looks like ***. They may not have as cool of features/lights/crap, but they work the same.
