Whats the general opinion on US Acoustics amps?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience good or bad with them. From my research they are a decent amp for a decent price. Thanks

I've always heard good things about them. Try asking here www.caraudioplanet.com There are a few members who use them all the time

I have a US Acoustic 2200. Very solid amp. Clean and never gave me an ounce of trouble. I have since replaced it with a RF 800.2. But I keep the 2200 for backup.

If I sold it, I could barely get a hundred bux for it. I couldn't replace it with a new amp for that kind of money so I decided to hang on to it.

If you're looking for a new amp, tell me what size. I can get autotek, lanzar, gs designs and a couple other brands.

Thanks, but I have a small electronics business and can get all those at dealer cost too. Although half the time I'm better off buying off ebay or ikesound its too bad.

I've had a couple of US Acoustics amps in my day and all of them gave clean sound and were super dependable. They're not real powerhouses, so actually get the size you need...but other than that they are top notch

Mine works great...

I have the USX-4065 running my Boston Acoustics RC620's. It will soon be running my rear fill speakers, once I decide which ones to get.

I bought mine off EBay for a good price... Unfortunatly, once I get the amp, I found out it would not power up. Luckily, I was able to contact the seller and found out where he bought it, and obtained a copy of the receipt and had the amp fixed under warranty.

I have the 4085 in another car and I got it from crutchfield. Its a great amp not one problem yet. knock on wood Ive had it for 2 years and allways run it hard. and when they rate their amp power they rate it as 12.5 vots so its one of only a few amps that will actually produce what they claim most amps are rated at 14.4 and most cars dont even run that high.

and no I dont work for them and I dont want to sell you something.

Thanks for the opinions guys, just wanted to make sure that they weren't a pyramid or pyle type of amp.

US Acoustics makes a decent amp. No ***** though. I bought one once but quickly sold it. I have Kickers and Rockfords rated at less than half the power that would hand it it's ***. Like I said, there was nothing wrong with it, just didn't have a ton of power.
