I have a 87 iroc and i have a sony explode class D 1000w amp. what subs should i get. I wan't 12's and a rms around 500. I wan to spend under $300 dollars i was looking a the alpine R-12's. Just let me know what you think.

 

get two RF P2, underrated at 200 rms, I had the same, well, they were HE's and were being pushed by a 500s (500 rmsx1 @ 4 ohms) , $200 shipped from procarstereo.com what ever you get, make sure you get the right impendance configuration to work with your amp.

thats what ima get when I get thru my current investment.

 

1000W will blow those things apart.

 

its a sony amp, way overrated its prolly putting out around 400 rms.

 

Oh, okay.. I don't buy Sony sh**.
