Question What should I put in my back seats?

Should I put my amps or my subs in place of the back seats? I have to put one or the other because my trunk is full and my top will not go all the way down because of the amps. If I put the amps back their I will fix it up with neons and stuff and I will try to do the same with the subs. Plus with the subs in the back when I lower the top I will not loose so much bass. But ever vert I have seen where subs are in place of the back seats looks like crap because you can see the box. But with the amps there, every time I lower the top I will loose a lot of bass. So which one do ya think I should go with?

I would be afraid that someone is going to steal or trash them? Why couldn't you fit your subs and amp in the trunk, I did and I have a vert? It was hard though, i had to build a custom box. Post some pics of whatever you decide to do.

Well both the subs and amps are in there right now but when I upgrade I will not be able to fit my amps back there.

I have a good alarm with motion sensor and pager. Also my Camaro is not my daily driver and stays in the garage and I watch where I park it.

With the subs and the box (3/4" MDF) it weighs over 100 pounds so someone isn't just going to casualy walk off with it. This is why I think that the subs are a better choice for the back seat than the amps. Also you will get better bass with the top down and have some room in the trunk for storage. All three of my amps sit down in the little well in the trunk. I then put a cover over top of them and have all the room above for storage. I can still fit two sets of golf clubs and a couple overnight bags in the trunk.

The only problem is with the trunk loaded up, and if realy cranking (louder than I normaly listen) the stereo on a couple hour road trip the heat will build up and the amps will shut down. I need to set up some kind of ventilation system with fans.

No mine just has like four leds. I can tell which sensor was tripped and whether it was a "warning" or actual alarm. It's good for a half mile or so.

How are Clarion alarms? I can get one from an installer for like $315 installed. That comes with the inside sensor, shock sensors and all that.
