Exclamation What is needed for HU setup?

I have a 99 firebird with the monsoon system and was wanting to install a JVC Head Unit (To go with the exisisting 12 disc cd/ mp3 changer that is FM Modulated at the time) and i had heard that the monsoon systems will be a pain in the but to install a headunit on. For cost purposes, I would like to do the job myself. I need to know what I need to purchase to install the HU, and where can I get these parts at. Also, any Instalation tips will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

For an easy plug and play installation and no wire splicing, use the PAC OEM-1 to add an after-market HU to the factory stereo.

To keep the use of the steering wheel controls with an after-market HU with infrared remote control, use the PAC SWI-X.

You cannot use the factory changer with an after-market HU.
