What kind of 4-ch amps for stock speakers??

I want to boost my power on the stock speakers. I got a sony cd HU and 2 1/2 year old factory speakers (they were all replaced when I bought the car). Would a 4- ch amp do the trick? Soon I'd like to add an amplified bazooka to the mix for more bass, but for now I'm just concerned with the stock mids and highs. I've been looking at the Pioneer MOSFET amps. What kind of power can the stock speakers handle? I don't want too blow'em, I just want to boost the power for better sound quality. They're not bose, just regular stock speakers.

Dont amp your factory speakers youll just blow them up. Change the speakers and add an amp. The other problem is you have a sony head unit. Sonys car audio sucks. There CD players have very low output amps and low output RCAs. There speakers and subs blow way too easy. And there amps couldn't put out there recommended power if they were struck by lightning. Sony home stuff fairly good, sony car stuff utter crap.
