Viper alarm wiring help (did search)
I recently got a Viper 300 alarm for my car. I don't think it has keyless entry, and that's about it besides being able to turn the alarm on and off from the remote. I bought it used so there are no instructions. The only thing I have to go by is the wiring schematics on the back of the brain. So here are my questions.
1) There is a positive and negative input for the door locks on the brain/box. Where do those get wired too on the door? I thought maybe the + and - power wires on the passenger side, but can't seem to find which orange and black wire it is in the kick panel. (there's a million orange and black wires down there)
2) Where should I mount the shock sensor so it gets the best shock? Right now it only goes off when I shut the drivers door twice (2 shock sensor I think). I can shake the car, and slam the passenger door hard and nothing will happen.
3) Which wire is for the parking lights? It'd be nice to have flashing lights when it goes off too.

do you have a DMM (digital multimeter?) id suggest finding one to test for hte right wires.
the headlight wire is a brown one in the drivers kickpanel but can also be found at the back of the switch.. i think it is also brown at the headlight switch but use a DMM to verify.
the door triggers are listed on directechs.com as a grey wire located behind the left rear speaker.. im pretty sure i caught mine at the BCM though.. once again use your DMM to verify.

I'll hook the headlight up and see if that works.
I'm not looking for the door trigger (i dont think), i'm looking for the + and - wires in the doors. Here's what the back of the box says.
Green: (+) door switch input (zone 3)
Violet: (-) door switch input (zone 3)
Red: door lock
Blue: door unluck
I found some thing online saying there is a red/black wire for either lock or unlock (can't remember), and orange/black for the other one. Are these the wires I'm looking for too?
And yes I have a DMM. I have been checking wires, but none seem to be it so far.
