I chopped my factory antenna down to about 7 inches high. Now my radio reception is pretty poor. (No surprise) I want to run an additional antenna by using a y-adapter on the back of my radio. Will the reception improve with a second antenna mounted inside the car? Will the antennas have interference with each other? Where inside the car should I mount my second antenna?
