Upgraded wiring?

Im trying to stiffen up my audio system without getting a new alternator or adding a capacitor. Ive read on here about upgrading the wiring helping with LS1 applications, I think White Rascal has talked about it, and I was just wondering if the same will work for LT1's. I saw this link over on LS1tech and wanted to see how you guys over here thought about it.

I dont have a huge power problem, but the lights dim slightly when im at idle and got the music up a little.

Generally upgrading the "big 3" helps all charging systems (though I don't think all 3 need to be upgraded in ours)... Hard to predict if it will help you, because from what I've read - sometimes it does wonders while others claim only a HO alt will help..

Might as well give it a try, IMO. (IDK if prices from where you listed are the best though)

I've been planning on doing this for alittle while now. You can make the kit yourself for ALOT cheaper than 80$, though. Go to knukonceptz.com and get the wiring yourself.

knukonceptz wiring can be had for much less. i highly recommend it it will help alot with dimming, every car ive done it on ive seen a big help, and i recommend doing all 3 legs. on my buddies LT1 WS6 he has a 70*4 rms 4 channel and a 1200 wrms sub amp and we did the big3 and his light dimming is almost gone and it was pretty bad
